About Me
I’m a student artist. Life is about learning and I plan to learn for the rest of my life.
I graduated in May 2021 from Western Carolina University with a BFA in Graphic Design. My main aspirations are to become a full fledged designer and work at a publication firm. I love books and photography so publication design is naturally where I find my most happiest self. I find my aesthetic to be somewhat rustic or retro. Those two things are very different in practice, which lets me have a wide variety of choices I can make when presented a problem. Vaporwave and Outrun are my favorite aesthetics under the retro category because of the relaxing vibe they give off.
My artistic process is one of trial and error. I always try to do new things so I can advance myself as much as I can. Doing things wrong is how I learn to do things right, so I try to experience as much of the two polarities as I possibly can. I welcome mistakes with open arms and I find critiques to be one of my biggest catalysts for growth.
